About Me.

I’m Benjamin Frimpong Cudjoe, a brand and visual designer, web designer and front-end developer in Accra. Over a decade across brand systems and digital products, and now I build what I design.
At GhanaWeb I owned UI/UX and front-end code for one of Ghana’s largest news portals: up to 90 million monthly pageviews, 3 to 5 million readers, around 350,000 a day. Sixty percent read from inside Ghana, forty percent from the diaspora, which meant designing for wildly uneven connections and devices.
The work I’m proudest of there is the election results platform. I designed an interactive map that fills region by region and constituency by constituency in the winning party’s colours as results come in live, alongside a parliamentary view laid out in the chamber’s own semicircle, each seat filling as it’s called. It launched for the 2020 election and is still what GhanaWeb runs today. Other Ghanaian outlets have since built results pages along the same lines.
I also designed the homepage, section pages and TV/radio page, rebuilding content management and ad placement across desktop and mobile.
For Enverus I handled visual design and the front-end build of their enterprise learning site on top of their LMS content platform. It has since served 48,736 learners across 215,000 visits, with 42,069 course completions, 442,179 content views and a 92% average quiz score.
Now I’m building Breela, a salon and spa management platform covering bookings, staff, inventory, payments and an online retail storefront. Launching in two months. I’m designing it and writing the code, taking it from Figma to shipped Next.js with Claude Code.
When I’m not behind a screen I’m near water. The rhythm and balance I find there is what I chase in the work.

Experience
Download CVBrand/Visual Designer
I focus on supporting global sales and marketing efforts by designing high-impact brand assets, from digital graphics and social media campaigns to complex presentation decks. I bridge the gap between design and technical implementation by building custom HTML/CSS pages on CMS platforms like Salesforce Pardot and Thought Industries. One of my key achievements involved designing and coding the entire user interface for a comprehensive enterprise learning and development platform, ensuring a seamless experience for users while maintaining strict brand alignment through expert image retouching and asset creation.
Brand/Visual Designer
During my time at ALX Africa, I played a pivotal role in establishing the visual presence of various sub-brands by crafting distinct and cohesive identities, including logos and core marketing materials. I specialized in translating complex program data into digestible infographics and visual stories for executive decks. Working primarily in Figma, I designed high-converting landing pages and newsletters that streamlined communication and enhanced the digital experience for the ALX community.
Visual Designer (UI/UX)
I took ownership of the end-to-end design lifecycle, managing client projects from the initial creative brief through to a successful digital launch. I was responsible for creating a comprehensive, company-wide illustration library that standardized our visual language and ensured consistent brand representation across all departments. A major part of my role involved serving as a strategic partner to clients, where I articulated design reasoning and seamlessly integrated their feedback to ensure the final product met both user needs and business goals.
Senior Front-end Web Developer
As a Senior Designer, I led the visual strategy and layout design for four of West Africa’s major websites, ensuring they were intuitive and user-friendly. I managed the full technical workflow, from developing initial wireframes and prototypes to conducting rigorous cross-browser testing and debugging to ensure a flawless responsive experience on all devices. Beyond my individual contributions, I provided mentorship and creative direction to other designers, ensuring our collective output was consistent with the brand’s long-term objectives.
